Lanthanum Aluminate (LaAlO3)
Lanthanum Aluminate is widely used as a substrate for depositing superconductor thin films
for high frequency and microwave applications. It has a rhombohedral crystal structure with
a good lattice match to typical HTSc pervoskite structures and excellent dielectric constant at 25.
Lanthanum aluminate wafers are available up to 3" diameter and special rods are produced
for microwave cavities. SCI
